www.verdicms.com Editing the HTML page content is made easy with the use of the Verdi Edit Pencil. The Edit Pencil allows site editors to click on the public site and be directly linked to that content within the administration areas.
The inbuilt WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) HTML editor allows content contributors to easily create content using a browser based interface, whilst the Webmaster maintains control over the sites look and feel. Editor and Publisher roles, with connecting Workflow, ensure that content is approved prior to publication on the live site.
The editor has a customisable, Word-like, interface including standard features such as table creation, bold, italic, underline, etc. Images may be simply imported into the editor and positioned through simple 'drag and drop' actions. Hyperlinks may be created and broken as required, to both internal pages and external sites.
A Word 'code sweeper' allows the Word documents to be pasted into the editor, with the sweeper removing extraneous Word code. Advanced users are able to toggle between editor and HTML code views.
HTML files may also be pre-built offline using preferred authoring tools, such as Dreamweaver, and imported into the Verdi System.
Verdi content is more than just HTML pages, and any standard file type may be configured through the administration for display / download by the system. Common file types configured into implementations include:
Applications, or Modules, may be added to pages by authorised administrators as required. Verdi comes with a wide range of modules, such as News, Events, and Online Polls, and optional add-on modules including AdPort (Advertising Management System), PayPort (Payment Gateway System) and Forums.

The Verdi Content Pool includes full versioning, which allows administrators to see what content was live at a prior point in time. It also allows easy roll back to previous versions of content.
